The South Formosa Synod requests Ai Chih Tsai to represent the synod: 1. to start working to establish a university, middle, and primary school; 2. to engage American professors, teachers, and missionaries to come to this new university; 3. to raise a relief fund for Formosan churches damaged by bombs.

Getting attention and support from mission boards for Formosa project is frustrating, but Ai Chih Tsai is still trying.
